Toric Engine™
Toric IOL Repositioning Calculator
Determines the optimal rotational alignment of a previously implanted toric intraocular lens from the manifest refraction and the lens position observed at the slit lamp. Toricity is converted between the IOL plane (label) and the corneal plane with a patient-specific vergence ratio, and every recommendation carries a measurement-aware confidence interval.
Implanted Toric IOL
Enter the cylinder printed on the lens box (e.g. T3 = 1.50 D). It is converted to the corneal plane with a patient-specific vergence ratio.
Reading the IOL axis: dilate to see all toric marks, use retroillumination, keep the patient's head level, and read to the nearest 5°.
Post-Op Manifest Refraction
Sphere is required — it changes the corneal-plane cylinder through the vertex correction. A plus-cylinder refraction is transposed automatically.
